Installing and setting up the Faire sales channel

You can install and set up the Faire sales channel in your Shopify admin. To set up your Faire sales channel, you need to connect your Faire account to Shopify, select products that you want to publish to Faire, set up product pricing, and configure order and inventory syncing.

Step 1: Install the Faire sales channel

Before you install the Faire sales channel to your Shopify admin, make sure to review the requirements and considerations.

Steps:

1. Go to the Faire: Sell Wholesale sales channel listing in the Shopify App Store.
2. Click Install.
3. Click Add sales channel.

Step 2: Connect or create your Faire account

After you install the sales channel, you can connect your existing Faire account to Shopify or sign up for a new Faire account.

Connect your Faire account

If you already have an existing Faire account, then you can connect it to your Shopify account.

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.

2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Faire: Sell Wholesale.

3. Click Open sales channel.

4. Click Connect Faire account.

5. Log in to your Faire account using your email address, or your Google or Apple account.

Sign up for Faire

You can create a new Faire account, but your account needs to be approved by Faire. Faire reviews your account application within 2-3 business days. If your application is approved, then you receive an email notification from Faire and you can connect your Faire account to Shopify.

If your application is declined, then your business is added to the waitlist. To learn more about Faire account and application status, contact Faire support directly.

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.

2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Faire: Sell Wholesale.

3. Click Open sales channel.

4. Click Sign up for Faire.

5. In a new tab, fill in the information about your wholesale business, and then complete the registration.

After your Faire account application is approved, click Connect Faire account, and then log in to your new Faire account from the Faire: Sell Wholesale sales channel in your Shopify admin.

Step 3: Select products to publish and configure product pricing

Note

This step applies only for new Faire accounts. If you connect an existing Faire account, then you can import your products to Faire from the Products page and configure your product pricing settings from the Preferences. page.

You can select products that you want to publish to Faire. You can add all your products or choose specific products based on product tags in your Shopify admin. Specify your product pricing strategy and configure how to price your products in Faire.

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.

2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Faire: Sell Wholesale.

3. Click Open sales channel.

4. In the drop-down menu, select All products to publish all your products to Faire or select products based on your tags.

5. If you want to add only active products to Faire, then select Select active products only.

6. Click Next.

7. Specify your product pricing strategy:

   • If you price your products for retail, then do the following actions:
     1. In the How do you price your products on Shopify? section, select I price my products for retail on Shopify.
     2. In the How should we calculate your wholesale prices section, adjust the wholesale price calculation.
   • If you price your products for wholesale, then do the following actions:
     1. In the How do you price your products on Shopify? section, select I price my products for wholesale on Shopify.
     2. In the How should we calculate your retail prices section, adjust the retail price calculation.

8. In the Will you sell all your products in cases? section, specify whether you sell your products bundled in cases:

   • If you sell products in cases, then select Yes, and then enter the number of products in a case.
   • If you don't sell products in cases, then select No.

9. Click Next.

Step 4: Configure price, inventory, and order syncing

Configure your price, inventory, and order syncing settings. You can choose whether you want to automatically sync inventory counts and new orders from Faire to Shopify. You can also adjust these settings after you complete your setup.

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.

2. From the Apps and sales channels page, click Faire: Sell Wholesale.

3. Click Open sales channel.

4. In the Do you want to enable price syncing section, select Yes or No whether to automatically update your product price changes from Shopify to Faire.

5. In the Do you want to enable Inventory syncing section, select Yes or No whether to automatically update your inventory counts from Shopify to Faire.

6. In the Do you want to enable order syncing section, select Yes or No whether automatically to sync your new orders from Faire to Shopify.

7. Click Finish.
